However, I like to make an effort to get to know that person first, especially concerning gender, sex, and orientation. It’s nothing to do with how I view them, it’s to do with how they would view me. I can be fucking scared of rejection and I know most people reject the ideas of polyamory. Add to the fact I could very well confess to a straight male, a lesbian, an asexual, so on and so forth, and even if this happens, you’ll never know if you’re one of the recipients or not because I don’t have that courage.)
